TERMS:
Please read this information completely before you make a purchase from Direct Harley Parts. These terms govern all of our sales, and may not be changed. These terms shall be interpreted according to California lawYour placing an order, whether signed or unsigned, will constitute acceptance of these terms and guarantee of payment on order and under the guidelines set below. The internet is an ever changing advertising medium and we reserve the right to modify the terms of this agreement.  By continuing to use the site after we post any such changes, you accept these modified terms.

DIRECT HARLEY PARTS PRICE POLICY:
Direct Harley Parts internal price list is subject to change without notice. Price updates are made when vendors supply us with their pricing updates. Prices are subject to change at any time and may be updated after the order is processed. We are not responsible for pricing errors or legally bound to sell at posted or advertised prices. All items are billed at the latest prevailing rates.

ONLINE ORDERING:
We employ the latest technology on our servers using Secured Sockets Layer ( SSL) encryption that works with Microsoft Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape Navigator, and AOL's browsers to protect all of your information.  All of our ordering forms and transmissions are secured for safe on-line ordering.  But if you do not feel comfortable ordering online, please call us, toll-free, at 800-745-6830. Our operators will be happy to assist you.

WARRANTIES:
All of our products are new first quality items and carry the manufacturer's full warranty.  We are licensed by all of the manufactures to legally sell you these parts so their warranty is valid.  Direct Harley Parts makes no representations or warranties as to any of the products described or sold by Direct Harley Parts expressed or implied including fitment of product.  The manufacturer makes the final call on all warranty items.  If they decide to deny your warranty, we don’t have any other recourse.  We will be happy to put you in contact with the manufacturer's customer service department.  The manufacturer governs all warranties.  Not Direct Harley Parts.  Please note that some items must be sent directly to the manufacturer for warranty items.  Not all manufacturers will reimburse you for shipping.

Direct Harley Parts is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any part that is purchased or obtained in any way from our company.  Motorcycling is dangerous and riders and owners assume full responsibility.  Please Ride Safely.

BILLING:
Your total bill will include Shipping and Insurance/Handling costs. 'Free Shipping' applies to physical addresses in the Continental U.S. (48 states) only.

Sales tax is not charged to customers outside of the state of California.
California residents must add 8.75% sales tax.

QUANTITY PACKAGING:
Please check the quantity amounts of the part you are purchasing. We do not break down packaging quantities on orders. Some products are packaged in multiple quantities. Please check quantity of packaging before placing your order. No parts will be accepted for return because of the quantity of the package. We will adjust your on line order pricing to reflect correct package quantity. We will not notify you of quantity adjustments. Your invoice will reflect these changes.

PAYMENT AND SHIPPING:
We charge all shippable items once the order is placed - ALL BACK ORDERED items are charged when they are released off of backorder.  This ensures that our customers are serious buyers and have the ability to purchase the parts they have ordered.  When you purchase items at a large discount, there are certain policies that must be followed in order to provide our customers with these discounts.  We use an automated ordering system to insure accuracy and efficiency with orders.  In order for us to be most efficient and profitable and to pass these savings on to the customer, we must follow this mail order standard. 

 

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and PayPal.  Non-foreign orders may also send in a Money Order or Certified Check.  If you would like to send in a Money Order please call our order line at 1-951-257-4033 for the total of your order.    

 

All credit card purchases are verified for our customers protection as well as our own.  Credit card fraud is a felony and we have and will prosecute all fraudulent orders.  Each credit card has a specific code built into the actual account number based on its security code and expiration date.  Our systems test this validity as well as the standard address and security verification on your credit card. Please note that every credit card has what's called a billing address.  This is the address that your bill is mailed to each month. It may not be where you live depending on what arrangement you have with the issuing credit card bank.    

 

Regular FedEx Ground orders should be received in 10 to 14 business days or sooner.  Items listed as "Free Shipping" or "To Your Door" refer to FedEx Ground within the Continental U.S. ONLY; Oversize charges may still apply unless "To Your Door" is indicated.  All orders shipped to P.O. Boxes and Military APO & FPO addresses will ship via US Priority Mail -- "Free Shipping" & "To Your Door"  offers do not apply to any orders shipped via the US Postal Service or out of the US 48 States.

 

If an item is on backorder (not immediately available) we will notify you.   Operators are available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, Pacific Standard Time.

Free freight orders are based on non-oversized items. If an order is over $199.00 and is oversized, additional truck freight or high value insurance fees may be applied. Standard shipping rates will apply for tires (please see chart below).

Tire Shipping, Insurance, and Handling

Please note that all items are shipped FedEx ground unless Express Air is arranged previously. These rates are based on standard items. Oversized items will be billed by actual dimensional weight and the above charts may not apply. Also, tires are billed at this rate on orders that only have tires within them. Orders that have parts and tires will have the tire shipping as well as the parts shipping. Free Shipping items will still be free, only tires shipping will be charged. The above tables are only guidelines to the shipping fees.

We can ship your order via FedEx Air. For Air shipping rates and policies, please contact a sales representative. These rates are based on actual dimensional weight, number of boxes and value of packages shipped.

This applies to orders shipped within the Continental U.S. only. 
APO/FPO, Alaska & Hawaii will ship via U.S. Priority Mail.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
Please advise the shipping carrier of the damage and before you sign for the parcel, open and inspect the items.  If you find the item is actually damaged.  Please have the driver mark the parcel as damaged in their log. Please call customer service at 1-951-257-4033.  They are open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm PST.  They will advise you on how to handle a shipping damage claim.  All damage claims must be made within 2 business days from the date your package was received or dropped off.  We will ship your replacement item out at our discretion and only once we're advised from the shipping carrier that their claim process has been started.  Please be patient.  Standard processing time is 7-10 business days.  It is important that you keep the original damaged shipping container for the carrier to inspect.  They will send the carrier driver back to your drop off location to inspect the damage.  Please note that when the driver drops off your package, they note if it was damaged and in good condition.  If they noted no damage in their computer and you call after the 2-business day timeline, no claim or action can be taken to replace your merchandise.  The sale is final

BACKORDERS:
Occasionally a manufacture backorders an item.  Refunds on canceled backordered items will generally post to your credit card in one billing cycle.  Backorders are filled and shipped when the part becomes available to us. We will ship your in-stock items separately and either e-mail, telephone or mail you regarding your back order items.

 

Backordered items will not be billed at the time of your order.  If at all possible, we will try to obtain your part from alternate distributors, but please keep in mind that often backorders are a result of a shortage on the manufacturer's behalf, and are therefore out of our realm of control. 

As long as the backordered item has not already shipped from the manufacturer or distributor, you may cancel it by e-mailing us at orders@directharleyparts.com or calling our Customer Service Desk at 951-257-4033. We will give a full in-store credit, or credit card refund on the back-ordered item, No cash refunds.

We ship back orders, when they are available, at no additional shipping or handling charge.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:

  Should you need to return an item, there can be a restocking fee of up to 20%, depending on the part. Special orders are not returnable for any reason. Orders refused by purchaser are not valid for store credit or return.  Should you order an incorrect item, you may exchange it. You will be responsible for any restocking or shipping charges. Shipping/Insurance/Handling charges are non-refundable.
When returning an item to Direct Harley Parts, you MUST first call our Customer Service desk at 951-2574033 for a Return Authorization number.  We will not accept returns that do not have a properly completed and signed Return/Exchange Form attached to the OUTSIDE of the returned box.

Items will not be exchanged if original packaging is opened, damaged, or ruined. Apparel, helmets, and shoes cannot be worn or washed. If an item is sent back to our warehouse and does not fall within these guidelines, no return or exchange will be granted, and the item will be billed freight and sent back to you. Please do not mark up the original packaging. Please repack the items securely in a box to protect the original packaging. We do not accept C.O.D shipments for returned freight items. These will be refused. We suggest you use a reliable shipping carrier such as FedEx, USPS, or UPS and insure your items for full value. We are not responsible for lost packages sent back to our warehouse. 

All returns and exchanges MUST be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of purchase.

  • Credit card number, billing address / telephone # (for credit card verification).
  • We will E-mail or fax you back with a confirmation on your order.
  • Foreign credit cards take 3 days to verify.
  • All orders are shipped via FedEx Express or USPS.
  • Orders to Canada are shipped via US Postal Service.
  • Direct Harley Parts is not responsible for additional charges such as tax and duties imposed by the country.
  • U.S. Airmail may be used, but at your own risk. We have no method of tracking U.S. Airmail shipments, they cannot be insured, and there is no guarantee of when it will arrive. The U.S. Post office claims a normal delivery time of 1-6 weeks plus customs time.
  • Volume discounts are available on orders over $2000 (U.S. dollars).
  • On volume orders, we will contact a freight forwarder to find the most cost efficient manner of shipping.
  • Do not ask us to forge paperwork, under-state value, or ship invoices separately. We will not engage in illegal or unethical practices.
  • Container load orders welcome.
